Buyer’s premium & payment
Each lot carries a 25% buyer’s premium, invoiced at the end of the auction. All winning lots must be paid for within 3 business days of the close of the auction; after that, a storage fee of 1% per day applies, and lots left unpaid are subject to disposal by the auction house. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, wire transfer and Zelle. Sales tax is charged for residents of California.
Bidding
We hold live auctions every week, with absentee pre-bidding and live online bidding. Each approved bidder must purchase all winning lots — a bid is a legally binding contract. If you are unsure of a lot’s condition, size or provenance, please ask us before the sale or do not bid. All sales are final.
Shipping
We ship worldwide; all items are FOB California, and the buyer pays shipping, tariffs, customs and duty. Shipping is calculated at the end of the auction and added to your invoice, and multiple wins are shipped together. Every item is professionally packed using the safest materials. Standard insurance covers $100 — if you need more, please tell us in writing before your shipment leaves. Address changes must be made in writing at least 24 hours before shipment.
