Specialized 1989 United States Eagle and Shield 25-cent self-adhesive stamp collection displayed on a collector album page, including a booklet pane, coil example with backing attached, and a booklet or coil single. Issued November 10, 1989, these stamps date from an important period when the U.S. Postal Service was experimenting with self-adhesive postage as an alternative to traditional water-activated stamps.
